Do we cut players?

Our goal for 2024 is to not have to cut any player that wants to play travel baseball with Hicktown LumberJacks. However, we are only allowed to have so many players on one team so depending on how many kids want to sign up, will determine if we need to cut players or not.

Are players required to make and travel to every tournament?

The expectation with Hicktown Baseball is that athletes attend each and every single practice/game/tournament.

How often are practices?

We will have voluntary practices once a week starting in January 2024. Starting March 2024 practices will be twice a week with mandatory attendance. Practices from January - March 2024 dates are to be determined. Once 2024 Beaverhead Little League practices and games start, practices are usually once a week on Sunday’s. These dates are always subject to change.

How much does it cost to travel with Hicktown Baseball?

Each year Hicktown does obtain sponsorships from various local businesses with the goal that we cover all of the costs associated with baseball equipment, uniforms, hats, ect. Each player will need to provide their own pants, cleats, baseball glove, baseball bag. If a cost must occur at a the expense of a player it will be determined at the start of each year. Travel expenses such as meals, hotels, ect will need to be paid for by each family.
